The Rise of Online Dating

Did you know that in recent years that 1 out of every 6 people who got married actually met online? Shocking, right? Well maybe not so shocking anymore. A study done by Chawick Martin Bailey found that online dating (17% of relationships) only trailed “being introduced to someone though a friend” (26%) and “meeting someone at work / school” (36%) as the top place to find someone to date. That’s pretty amazing considering online dating is a relatively new idea. It’s not like Great Grandma and Great Grandpa found each other online in 1889. While this is great news for meeting people, it does raise the chance of meeting someone really great, only to get into a long distance relationship. This is especially true if your job ties you to a certain area of the country. In the past that was pretty much a deal breaker. But now, why let something like distance stand in the way of love? Frankly that seems very 1992-ish. That’s where Moving For Love comes in. We’ll help you take care of all the details. If you’re moving for love, you probably have enough going on. Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone to help you coordinate your move? Wouldn’t it be nice to know that we can recommend a real estate agent or give you the piece of mind to know that your furniture will show up where they are supposed to? So go out and move for love. Just leave the details of moving to us.
